If u really want to have a warrior, u can always raise ur magic attribute points by 20 so u can learn thunder from pedlar(or 30 if u want healing). Then wear two-hands like spears, poleaxes, halberts, and glaives, coz they deal more damage.
pking advice: jump around and thunder ur opponents, if u get a chance to hit em melee, do it.

It really Depends on what you want, Defence or Offence. If you want Defence then get Blade and Shield add some 1's to get extream defence. Or you can go offence witch would mean WAND all the way, with the snow skill you can kick some serious a**, (thats what i got) then you can easily kill as many freaken monsters as a archer with scatter!!
